US envoy Amos Hochstein, who is the representative who’s been working on the ceasefire deal, reportedly informed Israel it has breached the Lebanon ceasefire agreement. This info came out by KAN. The story comes out as Lebanon’s health ministry reported one death in an Israeli airstrike on Marjayoun, near the southern border. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar countered these claims, saying actually – it’s Hezbollah’s presence south of the Litani River that constitutes a violation and that Israel is acting to enforce the agreement. France earlier reported 52 alleged Israeli ceasefire breaches in one single day. The ceasefire, which came into effect last Wednesday, includes provisions for Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon and the redeployment of Hezbollah north of the Litani River. All of that is supposed to happen within 60 days from the ceasefire agreement. 

On Sunday evening, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced they had killed several Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon, specifically near a church. The military justified this action by stating that the terrorists had violated the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon and posed a threat to Israel’s security. According to the IDF, these operatives belonged to Hezbollah’s Khiam ground defense, anti-tank missile, and artillery units, and they had actively fired at IDF troops from the church’s vicinity. After the operation, the troops conducted a thorough search of the area. They discovered a tunnel shaft that contained weapons, further highlighting the threat posed by the militants. Ultimately, the IDF emphasized its commitment to neutralizing threats to the state and maintaining security along its borders.

The situation in Lebanon remains tense, as the IDF has advised residents of numerous southern villages to refrain from returning to their homes until further notice. In Israel, Prime Minister Netanyahu held security meetings on Sunday night to discuss a potential hostage deal and updates regarding the ongoing developments in Lebanon and Syria. Meanwhile, in Gaza, Israeli airstrikes reportedly killed at least ten individuals in the northern region, according to Arabic news sources. In the Gulf of Aden which is south of yemen, U.S. naval forces successfully intercepted attacks from Iran-backed Houthi forces targeting American ships, as confirmed by CENTCOM.

An unfolding conflict in Syria has escalated, with at least 25 fatalities reported just within the past day, including the tragic loss of ten children, according to opposition sources. A large rebel group seized the capital, aleppo and now the Assad regime is under threat.
