Hamas is calling for a global “Day of Rage” on Friday, urging Muslims to harm Israelis and Jews. In response, Israel’s National Security Council and Foreign Ministry are advising Israelis abroad to avoid participating in protests, as these gatherings may escalate into violence. They are urging vigilance among those staying outside the country. Security agencies and Foreign Ministry officials are committed to safeguarding Israeli citizens worldwide. In the U.S., there are efforts to enhance security around Jewish institutions, while Germany, Belgium, and the UK are also ramping up measures to protect their Jewish communities in light of the Hamas attacks. New York City is putting cops all over the city, and also, I’m getting reports that there are even major stores closing.

The statement designates Friday, October 13, 2023, as a day of general mobilization for the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operations, urging Palestinians in the West Bank and within Israel to participate in large-scale rallies and confront Israeli soldiers at every opportunity. The memo also extends a call to Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims, and freedom advocates globally, urging them to unite in support of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The call for action includes guarding duties within the mosque to safeguard its heritage and prevent desecration. With concerns of escalating tensions and potential risks to Jewish communities, the memo has sparked fear and heightened security measures among Jews worldwide.

If you know me, you know how much I love original sources and original documents. I want to read the English translation from Memri, which is an online site meant to help governments spot and fight terrorism. This was read aloud on television by the former Hamas head and founder who is now living comfortably in Qatar. I don’t usually like to say the names of terrorists, so I will not name him. He has single-handedly hurt the Jewish community globally with this message, and I can’t believe it. Here we are in 2023. This is regarding today in Israel, tomorrow if you’re in the West.

We’ll share a few parts.

Hamas’s call for a global “Day of Rage” encourages Muslims to harm Israelis and Jews

“Given this historic achievement of our people and their courageous resistance, and to bolster the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the face of the open aggression of the occupation, thwart its schemes and dreams of Judaizing Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, and achieve victory for the just cause of our Palestinian people and our struggle for the liberation of our land, prisoners, and sanctities, we, in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), affirm the following:

“First: We declare next Friday, ‘The Friday of the Al-Aqsa Flood,’ as a day of general mobilization in our Arab and Islamic world and among the free people of the world. It is a day to rally support, offer aid, and participate actively. It is a day to expose the crimes of the occupation, isolate it, and foil all its aggressive schemes. It is a day to demonstrate our love for Palestine, Jerusalem, and Al-Aqsa. It is a day for sacrifice, heroism, and dedication, and to earn the honor of defending the first Qibla of Muslims, the third holiest mosque, and the ascension of the trusted Messenger.

“Second: We call upon our rebellious youth throughout the West Bank, in its cities, villages, and uprising camps, in the streets and neighborhoods of Jerusalem, and at the squares of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, to rise up, join massive demonstrations, and shake the ground beneath the feet of the Zionist invaders and their settler gangs. Engage with their soldiers and cowardly army in every place, affirming the unity of destiny and the path towards Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, liberating them from the defilement of the Zionist occupation.”

Hee has five points, but we think those were more than enough.

The Israeli National Security Council and Foreign Ministry are cautioning Israelis abroad to steer clear of protests and demonstrations in light of Hamas’ call for a global “Day of Rage” on Friday. Hamas has advocated for causing harm to Israelis and Jews as part of this campaign. There is concern that these demonstrations in various countries could escalate into violent incidents. The security agencies and Foreign Ministry officials are committed to ensuring the safety of Israeli citizens worldwide. In response to the heightened threat, countries like the U.S., Germany, Belgium, and the UK are taking measures to bolster security around Jewish institutions and communities.
